FurIdaho 2012 was truly a Triumph. We set out to run a convention hoping that we’d get a few attendees and walked away with an amazing amount of new friends, new ideas, and a bunch of things we are going to do in 2013.
First and foremost, I’d like to say thank you to our amazing Guests of Honor at FurIdaho 2012!
- Kadath, one of our artist guests who provided the amazing con book cover art.
- Mokusei Kaze, who provided our wonderful Badge artwork for the convention.
- Fur What It’s Worth, who entertained us with hilarious antics and furry wisdom.
- Fine Young Deviants, who also entertained the convention and keep the staff on their toes.
- DJ PWN_3 and Househead, for laying down the sick beats at the dance.
- Fantastic Journeys Publishing, for enlightening our minds with literature.
You guys rocked and made our show amazing!
And of course, our numerous event runners who ran amazing panels all weekend long! You guys helped make the show, and provided the fun that was had at FurIdaho 2012!
To our staff, Kasandra (our vicechair) and myself want you guys to know you guys ran yourselfs silly, but made magic happen. Without our dedicated teams, we wouldn’t be here today to celebrate what we’ve accomplished.
To Stephen, I want to thank you for stepping in last minute and helping make sure that we can have a FurIdaho 2013.
To the amazing staff at The Boise Hotel and Conference Center, including Chris, Jeff, Josh, and Kristy who worked around the clock to help us when we needed it most, you guys kept me sane. 
Now, let’s talk about FurIdaho 2013. At Closing Ceremonies we announced to the audience to pick the color of the next FurIdaho, and you guys voted, BLUE! We will have the new logos provided on our new website that will appear soon!
On top of which, we’re pleased to announce that the theme for FurIdaho 2013 will be Furries in Time and Space, a inspired by an amazing television show.
We have been listening as well to you guys regarding our layout for the site, and we’re going to implement several updates and revisions to the site to ensure that even mobile devices work wonderfully for FurIdaho 2013. On top of which, Registration will open shortly online for you to buy passes. We will announce rates soon and you might be able to get a deal for a limited period.
Event Submissions, Dealers and Artist’s Den, and Volunteer Signups begin in September 2012, and we kick off our first volunteer meetings shortly after Fandemonium 2012 (which is right around the corner).
